Who are the City of Denver area high school alumni in action on Friday, Nov. 28?

Five University of Denver skiers have been recognized with seven All-American awards following strong performances at this year’s NCAA Championships. The team’s achievements include multiple individual podiums and a third-place overall finish.

Denver Pioneers alumni played key roles in last weekend’s National Lacrosse League semifinal games. Highlights included standout performances from Wes Berg, Mark Matthews, Richie Connell, Brendan Bomberry, and Casey Wilson.

Ava Mabanta has been appointed assistant coach for University of Denver gymnastics after serving as student assistant following her athletic retirement due to injury. Head Coach Melissa Kutcher-Rinehart praised Mabanta’s dedication to the program.
