These former City of Denver area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Feb. 2.
Louise Wikander collected three major regional honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association after leading Denver women’s tennis during a standout senior year. Her achievements include Senior Player of the Year recognition along with top marks for improvement and sportsmanship.
Gabriel Landeskog has become the first player ever to win both the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy and Mark Messier Leadership Award in one NHL season. After missing three years due to injury recovery and surgeries, he returned as Avalanche captain during their successful campaign.
These former City of Denver area high school standouts will be active on Wednesday, June 10.
