Former University of Denver men’s lacrosse player Ethan Walker reached a career milestone by scoring his 100th goal during Oshawa’s 16-9 victory over Halifax in National Lacrosse League (NLL) week seven action. Walker was one of two former Denver players to record nine points in the game.

Alex Simmons, also a former Pioneer and current teammate of Walker on Oshawa, contributed two goals and seven assists along with eight loose ball pickups. Their combined efforts helped secure the win for Oshawa on Saturday night.

Tyler Pace recorded another strong performance with two goals and five assists for Calgary, but his team lost to Vancouver in overtime.

On Friday, Trevor Baptiste achieved a perfect record at the faceoff dot, going 23-for-23 and collecting 11 loose balls. Wes Berg added two goals and two assists for San Diego, though the team was defeated by Toronto. For Toronto, Josh Dawick scored one goal and provided two assists, while Mark Matthews had one goal and three assists.

Jack Hannah scored once and assisted once in his second game with the Colorado Mammoth as they defeated Georgia to close out the weekend’s games.

The NLL Week 8 schedule will feature several matchups involving former Denver players across multiple teams. All games are available on ESPN+.
