On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Mullen High School standout Alek Elges’ current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.
The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.
The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Buddy Bolding Stadium against Albany Great Danes.
