Tucker Johnson, a former standout at Delta High School and now a player for the North Central Cardinals, is set to participate in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m.
On Thursday, June 11, these former City of Denver area high school stars will be competing.
El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Round Rock Express 5-3 in their MiLB matchup on Tuesday, June 9.
Louise Wikander collected three major regional honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association after leading Denver women’s tennis during a standout senior year. Her achievements include Senior Player of the Year recognition along with top marks for improvement and sportsmanship.
