Thirteen Denver Pioneers alumni make NLL opening night rosters for 2026 season

Thirteen former University of Denver men’s lacrosse players have been named to the opening night rosters for the 2026 National Lacrosse League (NLL) season. The NLL released team rosters on Monday, ahead of the league’s first four games scheduled to start Friday.

The list of Denver alumni on NLL teams includes Noah Manning and Tyler Pace with Calgary; Richie Connell and Zach Miller with Georgia; Brendan Bomberry with Halifax; Alex Simmons and Ethan Walker with Oshawa; Wes Berg, Trevor Baptiste, and Danny Logan with San Diego; and Josh Dawick, Mark Matthews, and TD Ierlan with Toronto.

The opening week schedule features several matchups involving these former Denver players. On Friday, November 28, Toronto (Dawick, Matthews, Ierlan) will play Oshawa (Simmons, Walker) at 5:30 p.m. MT. Saturday’s games include San Diego (Berg, Baptiste, Logan) facing Ottawa at 5 p.m. MT and Georgia (Connell, Miller) playing Buffalo at 5:30 p.m. MT. All games will be available to stream on ESPN+.
