On Sunday, Feb. 23, former North High School standout Manny Ortiz’s current college team, the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys, lost 15-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their second matchup against the Greyhounds this season.
The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m. at Jake Williams Field against Southwest Mustangs.
