On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Mullen High School standout Alek Elges’ current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 15-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.
The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
