UNLV junior Caden Fioroni has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week, while UNLV senior Veronica Joels is the MW Women’s Golfer of the Week.
This is the third weekly/monthly Conference honor for Fioroni and first for Joels.
Junior, San Diego, California / Torrey Pines HS
- Recorded a tie for fifth after shooting an 8-under 208 at the Southern Highlands Collegiate, a tournament with nine top-25 ranked teams.
- Finished ahead of 10 golfers ranked in Golfstat’s top 50.
- Tallied a team high 13 birdies in the tournament.
