Aspen University enrolls 3,389 undergrads

At Aspen University, 94 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 86 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Denver enrolled 5,424 students in fall 2018, including 3,389 in undergraduate and 2,035 in graduate programs, data shows. 0.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

2 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 98 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (16 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).
