Graduates earn 692 degrees, certificates from Aspen University

About 75.6 percent of the 692 degrees and certificates handed out by Aspen University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Denver conferred 359 bachelor's degrees and 164 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in public health/community nurse/nursing. Data shows the school gave out 356 bachelor's degrees in public health/community nurse/nursing, followed by 161 master's degrees in adult health nurse/nursing and 26 master's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 5,424 students for 2017-18, including 3,389 in undergraduate programs and 2,035 in graduate programs.
