Simmons and Walker contribute five points in NLL week four

Four former University of Denver men’s lacrosse players participated in week four of the 2025-26 National Lacrosse League (NLL) season.

Alex Simmons, who was named the 2024 NLL Rookie of the Year, recorded three points for Oshawa with one goal and two assists. Ethan Walker, also playing for Oshawa, contributed two goals during their match against Vancouver on December 19. The game ended with Vancouver defeating Oshawa 8-6.

The upcoming NLL schedule features several games involving former Denver players. On Saturday, December 27, Saskatchewan will play Halifax at 4 p.m. MT; Las Vegas faces Toronto at 5 p.m. MT; and Georgia meets Colorado at 7 p.m. MT. On Sunday, December 28, Buffalo will compete against Calgary at 6 p.m. MT.

Former Denver athletes are currently rostered across multiple NLL teams this season: Noah Manning and Tyler Pace are with Calgary; Richie Connell and Zach Miller play for Georgia; Brendan Bomberry is with Halifax; Alex Simmons and Ethan Walker represent Oshawa; Wes Berg, Trevor Baptiste, and Danny Logan are on San Diego’s team; while Josh Dawick, Mark Matthews, and TD Ierlan play for Toronto.
