On Friday, Feb. 28, former Mullen High School standout Alek Elges’ current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Albany Great Danes.
The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Great Danes this season.
The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Buddy Bolding Stadium against Albany Great Danes.
