On Saturday, Feb. 22, former North High School standout Manny Ortiz’s current college team, the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys, lost 15-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their first matchup against the Greyhounds this season.
The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Brandt Field against Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
