Former Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College standout Jessie Matthews and collegiate team to compete in NCAA Division II Football Championship beginning Saturday, Nov. 22

Jessie Matthews, a former standout at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College and now a player for the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, will participate in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The team enters the tournament as the third seed and will face the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, who are also seeded third.

The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m.
