University of Denver men’s tennis players Theo Coats and Connor Robb-Wilcox have been named to the Kwik Star Summit League Doubles Peak Team of the Week for the second week of the season, according to an announcement by the Summit League on Tuesday.

Coats, a sophomore, and Robb-Wilcox, a graduate student, secured a 6-3 win in their doubles match at the No. 2 position during Denver’s first dual match of the year against Texas Tech. The pair broke serve in the fourth game and again in what proved to be the final game as Denver won 4-3 over Texas Tech on January 23.

In their second match of the weekend against Montana State, Coats and Robb-Wilcox were trailing slightly at 3-4 when play was stopped and left unfinished.

This is Coats’ fourth time earning a Doubles Peak Team of the Week award, though his previous honors came with another partner. For Robb-Wilcox, this marks his second such recognition; his first also came with a different teammate. Their latest award represents Denver’s first Summit League weekly honor for the 2026 season.

Denver will not compete this week but will return with home matches against Utah and Montana from February 6-8 at Denver Tennis Park.
