University of Denver men’s tennis players Raffaello Papajcik and Aaron Beduhn have received the Summit League’s weekly honors for their performances during the fourth week of the season, according to an announcement made by the Summit League on Tuesday.

Papajcik was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week and also received Doubles Peak Team of the Week honors alongside Beduhn. Papajcik won both his matches at No. 1 singles as Denver secured two dual victories last weekend. He started with a three-set win against Utah on February 6, which gave Denver its first point and helped spark a comeback from a 0-2 deficit to win 4-3 overall. Two days later, he came back from losing a set to win the final match in Denver’s 6-1 victory over Montana.

In doubles play, Papajcik partnered with freshman Beduhn for a 6-1 win against Montana in the No. 3 spot, contributing to Denver securing the doubles point. The pair were leading 4-3 against Utah when their match was abandoned.

These awards mark Papajcik’s fourth Peak Performer honor and his first Doubles Peak Team recognition in his career. For Beduhn, this is his first weekly award from the Summit League.

Beduhn and Papajcik are now among four Denver men’s tennis players who have earned weekly Summit League recognition this year. Papajcik is also noted as the first singles player from Denver to receive such an award this season, while he and Beduhn join Connor Robb-Wilcox and Theo Coats as doubles team honorees.

The team will travel for its first road matches of 2026, facing Wichita State at a neutral site in Boise, Idaho on Saturday, February 14, followed by a match against Boise State on Sunday, February 15.
