The University of Denver men’s lacrosse team and Syracuse University have arranged a two-year home-and-home series, according to an announcement by William G. Tierney Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Matt Brown. The agreement will bring Syracuse to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on March 16, 2026, while Denver will travel to New York for the return game in 2027.
Season ticket holders can purchase seats for the Denver-Syracuse matchup as well as seven other expected home games during the 2026 season. These tickets are currently available, with single-game tickets set to go on sale in January.
Syracuse leads the all-time series against Denver with four wins to one. The teams last met in February 2011 during the regular season. In their most recent encounter, Denver defeated Syracuse 10-8 in Towson during the 2024 NCAA Quarterfinals, which secured Denver’s sixth appearance at Championship Weekend. This upcoming match will mark Syracuse’s first visit to Denver since 2002.
