Denver men’s lacrosse rises to 16th in Inside Lacrosse Media Poll

The University of Denver men’s lacrosse team has moved up to 16th place in the latest Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, according to an announcement made on Monday. The team’s regular season schedule consists of 13 games, with seven opponents currently ranked in this week’s poll.

Denver’s upcoming matchups include games against several teams in the USILA Top-20. The Pioneers will play No. 6 Ohio State away on March 12 at 5 p.m. MT and will host No. 10 Syracuse on March 16 at PBLS. Other ranked opponents on their schedule are No. 7 Cornell, No. 8 Duke, and No. 13 Georgetown, as well as games against Utah and Villanova, both receiving votes in the poll.

After a break of ten days, Denver will travel to Columbus, Ohio for their game against Ohio State, which will be broadcast on B1G+. They return home shortly after to face Syracuse.
