Former University of Denver men’s lacrosse players made significant contributions in Week 10 of the 2026 National Lacrosse League season, combining for 43 points, including 34 assists.
On Friday night, Trevor Baptiste achieved an 18-for-24 record on faceoffs and Wes Berg contributed four assists during San Diego’s win over Philadelphia.
In Toronto’s 17-10 victory against Ottawa on Saturday, Mark Matthews scored two goals and provided nine assists for a total of 11 points. This performance moved Matthews into the top ten in NLL history for career assists. “Matthews’ 11-point night was his second as a member of the Rock.” Josh Dawick also added two goals and two assists in the win.
The Colorado Mammoth continued their winning streak, now at five games since acquiring former Pioneer Jack Hannah. The team defeated the defending champions at Ball Arena with a score of 20-9. Hannah recorded nine points with two goals and seven assists.
Alex Simmons had another notable game for Oshawa, scoring seven points from two goals and five assists.
Other results from last week included Saskatchewan defeating Calgary, with Pace registering four assists; Philadelphia falling to San Diego despite Baptiste’s strong performance; Georgia beating Halifax where Bomberry tallied two assists; Buffalo losing to Colorado with Hannah making significant contributions; and Oshawa losing to Las Vegas despite Simmons’ efforts.
Upcoming NLL games will be available on ESPN+ this Saturday, featuring matchups such as Calgary versus Ottawa and Oshawa against Toronto.
Looking ahead, Denver will play its next home game against Air Force at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium next Saturday at noon Mountain Time. The game will be streamed on Midco Sports Plus and broadcast on 104.3 The Fan HD3.
