The University of Denver gymnastics team will hold its annual Crimson & Gold Intrasquad event at Magness Arena on Sunday, December 21, starting at 1:45 p.m. Mountain Time. Admission is free and doors open at 1 p.m.

This intrasquad meet is part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming 2026 season. Gymnasts will compete on all four events and receive scores from a panel of judges. After the competition, fans can meet the athletes during an autograph session on the north concourse outside sections 5-7.

Denver enters the new season ranked No. 16 in the WCGA Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The team brings back seven gymnasts from last year’s squad, which upset two higher-ranked teams at NCAA Regionals and finished with a No. 13 national ranking.

Returning members include seniors and team captains Mila Brusch, Cecilia Cooley, and Kiley Rorich; juniors Ashley Gallen, Amanda Hargraves, and Maddison Reidenbach; and sophomore Sophia Hampp. Brusch, Cooley, Rorich, and Reidenbach are listed as members of the 2026 Big 12 Conference Preseason Team.

Seven newcomers join this year’s roster: freshmen Megan Aamold, Shyla Bhatia, Sevana Kasparian, Kaitlynd Kastl, Terra Rutter, Abby Steeley—comprising what is ranked as the No. 9 freshman class nationally—and sophomore transfer Addie Hewitt.

The Pioneers will begin their official season by hosting No. 13 Stanford on January 11 at Magness Arena.

Tickets for the upcoming season are available online, by phone at 303-871-4625 or in person at the Ritchie Center Box Office.
