On Tuesday, March 18, former Mullen High School standout Alek Elges’ current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the VMI Keydets.
The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Keydets this season.
The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Greenwood Baseball Field against UNC Asheville Bulldogs.
