On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Northfield High School standout Aiyana Cordero’s current college team, the Northern Colorado Bears, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.
The game took place at Dail Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 12 p.m. at Shea Stadium against Sacramento State Hornets.
